Aloha! Welcome to the Lanakila Iki Ocean Challenge 2024 Race!

A true Ocean Race, Located in beautiful Hollywood Beach. Last year's race brought a lot of competition and made our paddlers bring their A game. This year promises to be as competitive and fun on the beautiful Ocean. Bring your A game, this Ocean Challenge is truly an experience not to be missed!

The race is hosted by Lanakila Iki Outrigger Canoe Club on the weekend of August 17th and 18th.

Saturday August 17th will feature OC6 races in Women’s, Men's, and Mixed categories. The course will be 9 miles.

Sunday August 18th will be the small craft category, open to Sunday will be the small craft category, open to Single/double craft OC1/2/V1, Surfski/SUP/Prone. 8 miles and 4mile course.

NOTE: 8- and 4-mile races start at the same time.

Note: Hollywood beach is a green beach so please bring a fillable water bottle.

Race captains, please register for the races that your club will be participating in (men's, women's and/or mixed). We greatly appreciate you registering in advance, so we have a headcount for lunch and race swag. The race fee includes lunch and race swag for each paddler.

Does your team need to rent an OC6? Contact the race organizer to inquire about spare OC6 availability. Please do not reach out to boat owners. We'd like to reserve the right to assign boats to avoid duplicating.

Safety: PFD is required by the USCG and be present in the canoes.

A completed waiver is required to participate, please fill during registration.

FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Please plan accordingly.
