Hello Paddlers!

Thank you for registering for our upcoming Water Festival Paddle Splash 2022 benefiting Nor Cal SUP Groms community outreach programs that include Foster/At Risk Youth and Veterans. Your participation in our festival helps us reach these underserved groups through the sport of SUP.

Paddle Splash on Lake Natoma July 22-24, 2022

All activities including-Clinics, races, and Yoga will be conducted at Nimbus Flat State Recreation Park located at 1921 Hazel Ave, Gold River CA.

Please note there is a State Park fee to enter this area that is not included in your registration.

Please arrive early parking is limited inside the park.

Leash and PDF is required during races and clinics.

All races will be timed through timing chips. Please keep racing bib for entire weekend. Please check in and receive your "racer swag bag" at Registration Booth located on the beach.

To save time on race day you can pick up your Racer swag bag at the following pre-race times/dates .

Friday July 23 7:30AM-1PM Nimbus Flat

4:30-6PM Nimbus Flat

Saturday July 24 7:30AM-1PM Nimbus Flat

Sunday July 25 7-10AM Nimbus Flat

Paddlers must supply all their own gear for racing and clinics.

All paddlers MUST attend paddlers pre-race safety meeting on the day of their event;

Saturday Meeting 8:45AM on the beach

Sunday Meeting 7:45AM on the beach

Rental boards available for clinics and can be reserved through Paddle Guru registration page.

Awards will be announced after each race and medals presented on the beach.

All equipment will be provided for SUP Yoga classes. Please arrive 20 minutes before scheduled SUP yoga class to be checked in.

Water and Bio Steel Hydration will be at finish line, but it is HOT in Folsom in July so PLEASE bring water with you during race! Our floating Food Truck, Anchored Eats, will be on the beach anchored down and serving breakfast and lunch items. Check out their menu here https://www.anchoredeats.com/menu BBQ's are also available on the beach if you want to "grill your own".

Friday Night July 22

Join us at Escape Folsom, great craft beer/wine selection and a wonderful food menu with Vegan options. Here are the details:

Saturday July 23rd

Join us for a Post Race get together on the patio at https://cliffhouseoffolsom.com in Folsom, a free golf cart shuttle will take you to and from the Lake Natoma Inn lobby to the Cliff House. Shuttle starts at 5:30PM and ends at 7:45PM the golf cart shuttle will meet paddlers in front of Lake Natoma Inn Lobby. The patio at Cliff house is open seating so arrive early and save a spot for friends. . The food is great so if you plan on eating at Cliff House dinner reservation are needed please call ahead or reserve through the Cliff House web site. Full menu is also available on Patio.

Sunday July 24th

We will close out our event with a "Water/Beach" clean up on Sunday July 24th at noon, please register for cleanup when you check out today and help us keep our waterways clean!

Nor Cal SUP Certified Coaches will be coaching/assisting with all clinics.
