Stand Up Paddling will take over the San Francisco Bay in the 4th Annual Battle Of The Bay Race and Expo! This year in addition to SUP & Prone Paddleboarding, we are inviting our OC1 friends to join us! Our new location at the East Beach at Crissy Field in the Presidio National Park will make this awesome race even more exciting as we take on the San Francisco Bay!  Views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the Marin Headlands will make this one of the most scenic and exciting races on the tour!  

Another $10,000 cash purse will be on the line so expect the world’s top paddlers to be battling it out for top honors. The explosion in popularity of Stand Up Paddling has infected the San Francisco Bay Area in a big way and now the local paddling fleet is calling all paddlers to join them in the celebration of SUP racing in one of the world’s most iconic bodies of water.

Northern California Championships:

And just to make this race weekend even more exciting, this year we will be crowning the Northern California SUP & Prone Paddleboard Champions and the Northern California OC1 Champions!  The combined, lowest race times of Saturday's Alcatraz 8.5 mile race and Sunday's 5 mile Battle Field race will be totaled and Sunday we will announce the winners.

1)      This is a WPA Sanctioned Event

2)      Prizes awarded per age group-1^st-3^rd in each age group

3)      Pro competitors must complete the 5mile and 8.5mile races to be included in the prize money.

5)      1^st-3^rd Team Relay

6)      1^st-2^nd Man and Woman- Pro & Open in BOB Challenge

7)    1-race Open entry fee $55, Thursday, September 19th entry fee $65

8)    1-race Pro Division entry fee $95,Thursday, September 19th entry fee $105

9)      2- race Open Package $100,Thursday, September 19th entry fee $120

10)   2-race Pro Package $170,Thursday, September 19th entry fee $190

11)    Board categories Stock, 14’, Unlimited, SUP under 12.6, Prone- Stickers will be provided and MUST be worn on the back of your boards.

12) PFD's (Lifejackets) and Leashes are required to race
