Short Course will have staggered starts for SUP, Paddleboard, Outrigger Canoes and Surf Skis.

 The exact order of start will be announced at the pre-race meeting. The race course may change based on prevailing conditions of the day.   

Race fees will include lunch, swag and awards. There will be awards for the top three finishers provided the Division has at least three (3) entries.

SAFETY

Long Course and Short Course Competitors must have PFD’s; only exception will be Prone/Paddleboards. DOCC will supply 2-3 safety boats for the Ocean Challenge.  Ocean conditions will be discussed at the pre-race paddler meetings. Be aware of ocean conditions before paddling out.
