Second annual Cabo Classic. No need to haul your own canoes down for this race. We have 7 traditional canoes in San José del Cabo.  Teams for this race will be randomly chosen November 15^th for the December 3^rd Race. If this is a race where you are looking to compete with the top paddlers in the world, this is not the race for you.  

This is a fun team building race where Americans, Canadians, Ex-Pats and Mexicans can paddle together and have some fun doing so. Friday we will meet with our teams and practice for a few hours followed by team building events at the beach club at El Ganzo. Saturday we will meet at the beach club and have a competitive 9-12 mile race.  We may do a solid iron man race or we may do a full change out at Chileno Beach.

We hope to eventually build the race into a world class event but I think it will be several years before this race will become so. However, for now this will be the funnest race of the year. 

Our intention is to introduce 6-man outrigger paddling to the entire Los Cabos region.  Given current population expansion into the Los Cabos region it is entirely possible to foresee outrigger clubs in San Jose Del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Ventanas, Los Barrilles and Todos Santos.
