The 8th Annual Smith Mountain Lake Stand Up Paddleboard Race will be held Saturday, September 19th from 9:30am - 10:30 am at Smith Mountain Lake Community Park in Franklin County, Virginia. Awards onsite after race.

Get your paddleboards ready for this awesome race! If you like to SUP, Surfski or Kayak you need to come and try this 2, 4 or 6 (surfski only) mile course on Smith Mountain Lake. All ages are welcome to compete in the race.

Mountain 2 Island Paddleboards, Kayaks & Boat Rentals will be available to rent SUP’s for racers who may prefer a different board.

The running start begins on the sandy community park beach. Racers will paddle to and around a small island for a route approximately 2 or 4 miles in length. Surfski's will paddle 6 miles.

Due to COVID-19 we will not be having a off site meal.  Awards will be given on sight.

Race begins at 9:30 am. Day of registration begins at 8:30 am. $30.00 pre pay/registration or $40.00 day of pay/registration please pay with cash or check. All pre-registered participants get a shirt.
