There are two starting points, one for the Short Course and another further upstream for the Long Course. Both end at the boat ramp in downtown Plymouth.

Short Course Start

The 4.5 mile Short Course starts at Plymouth Sands Campground (3 Quincy Road, Plymouth; just upstream of Smith Bridge) and finishes on the Pemigewasset River underneath the Dicenzo (Route 175A) bridge (yellow line). Watercraft must be taken out a hundred yards farther downstream, on the right bank, at the Rotary Amphitheater boat ramp. Short course paddlers, please arrive early enough to be unloaded and registered prior to the 10:40 mandatory safety briefing.

Long Course Start

The 9 mile Long Course starts at the Riverbrook RV and Campground (1120 NH Route 25, Rumney - the red line). From the start in the large pool above the old RR bridge, the course runs 4.5 miles downriver to the Plymouth Sands Campground where it joins up with the Short Course (yellow line). Participants in the Long Course do not have to come to the Short Course start to register or check in. There will be registration and check-in at Riverbrook RV for Long Course paddlers.
