Bluerush is proud to host the 8th Annual 2018 Battle of the Bay/Watersport Festival. Held in front of Ghirardelli Square on the San Francisco Waterfront at Aquatic Cove Park.
The event will feature many of the worlds Pro SUP Competitors-Open Class SUP, OC1-Surfski and Prone paddler competitors. We are proud to be a WPA-Salt Life Cup event supporting the Open and Junior competitors and points for the Elite-Pro athletes on the Paddle League tour.
Elite division competitors will be challenged by the now famous race 7-mile around the South Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. Open Class competitors will be challenged by the 6 mile course that goes up to but not around the Golden Gate. There will also be 3 mile Open water race alongside a Free Kids race inside Aquatic Park. This event features great viewing and photo opportunities for family and friends to cheer on all the racers.
This year the event benefits the Ocean Hope so joining us on the water racing is going to help fight cancer at the same time.
