5:00 - 8:00 PM SUP Demo & Pre-Race Orientation
Location: Bugaboo Bay - 2800 N. Nokomis NE, Alexandria, MN 56308
Big Ole SUP-athon organizers will be available to answer questions and handing out race packets for Friday's paddlers. SUP Sales Reps will be present with new products to demo in Lake L'Homme Dieu. SUP rentals and all logistical issues for Friday's events will also be covered.
7:00 - 8:00 PM THE LITTLE LENA!
Location: Rotary Beach - L'Homme Dieu - 4429 County Road 42 NE, 56308
The Big Ole SUP-athon officially begins with the Little Lena, a 1.8 mile "Aquatic Parade" for water-enthusiasts age 15 and over. The Little Lena starts at Rotary Beach on Lake L'Homme Dieu and ends at Bugaboo Bay. Participants are encouraged to dress in outrageous costumes, bring their well-behaved pets and paddle anything that floats! The Little Lena is FREE to anyone signed up for Friday's Sven 6, Sven 10 or Big Ole SUP-athon. Last minute registration and SUP rentals will be available at Bugaboo Bay, as will discounted meals afterwards.

6:00 - 6:30 AM Big Ole SUP-athon Pre-Race Organization

Paddlers attempting the 26 mile Big Ole SUP-athon are encouraged to carpool out to the E. Miltona Access. Space for you and your craft in organizer's vehicles will be limited so get on the sign-up sheets or coordinate with some newfound friends on Thursday evening!
7:00 AM THE BIG OLE SUP-ATHON!
Location: East Lake Miltona Access - 2470 N. Lake Miltona Dr NE, Miltona, MN 56354
The Big Ole SUP-athon is a 26-mile-long race / recreational tour spanning 13 lakes of Alexandria's Chain of Lakes. Competitive paddlers will start at 7AM sharp, followed by recreational paddlers one minute later. Paddlers will be guided across Miltona by a strobe light. Volunteers will available to offer food, water and encouragement every few miles along the route. Assistance will be provided at all three minor portages. BOS paddlers are required to maintain a minimum pace of 2.6 MPH, including all rest breaks, to complete the race by 5PM. A 2:30PM cut-off time will be imposed at Rotary Beach and BOS SUPers arriving after 2:30PM will be required to follow the Sven course and finish at Bugaboo Bay (21.3 mi). The Big Ole SUP-athon ends at the (South) Lake Victoria Public Access (300 Hazel Hill Rd SE, 56308). Finish line photos will be taken and official times recorded as paddlers reach the shoreline.
9:00 - 9:30 AM Sven Ten Pre-Race Organization

Paddlers attempting the 10 mile Sven Ten are encouraged to carpool out to the N. Louise Culverts. Space for you and your craft in organizer's vehicles will be limited so get on the sign-up sheets or coordinate with some newfound friends on Thursday evening!
10:00 AM THE SVEN TEN!
Location: North Lake Louise Culverts - 3700 Sunset Strip NW, 56308
The Sven Ten is a 10-mile-long race / tour spanning 8 lakes of Alexandria's Chain of Lakes. Competitive paddlers will start at 10AM sharp, followed by recreational paddlers one minute later. Volunteers will available to offer food, water, encouragement and assistance to paddlers every few miles along the route. The Sven Ten ends in the West Bay of Lake Le Homme Dieu at Bugaboo Bay (2800 N. Nokomis NE, 56308). Finish line photos will be taken and official times recorded as paddlers reach the shoreline.
10:00 - 10:30 AM Sven Six Pre-Race Organization

11:00 AM THE SVEN SIX!
Location: Lake Cowdry Access - 898 East Lake Cowdry Rd NW, 56308
The Sven Six is a 6-mile-long race / tour spanning 4 lakes of Alexandria's Chain of Lakes. Competitive paddlers will start at 11AM sharp, followed by recreational paddlers one minute later. Volunteers will available to offer food, water, encouragement and assistance to paddlers every few miles along the route. The Sven Six ends in the West Bay of Lake Le Homme Dieu at Bugaboo Bay (2800 N. Nokomis NE, 56308). Finish line photos will be taken and official times recorded as paddlers reach the shoreline.
5:30 - 7:00 PM Post-Race Awards & Celebration

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers of each course! Because of budgetary constraints, cash prizes of $15, 10 and 5 will be awarded to the top 3 male & female finishers!
