California 100

The California 100 is a 100 mile, 1 day race down the Sacramento River from Redding, California to Chico, California.  It's open to surfskis, outrigger canoes, standup paddleboards, prone paddleboards, canoes & kayaks.  Racers challenge the course solo, tandem or on a relay team stopping at three mandatory checkpoints along the course.  There are two separate racing classes, each with a different start time.  The competitive class exists for experienced racers and the adventure class exists for all those paddlers with the guts and drive to challenge themselves on the longest one day race in California.

The California 100 is a major fundraiser for Rivers for Change, a CA non-profit dedicated to connecting individuals, communities & organizations to rivers.
