will
set
new
challenges
for
the
East
Coast,
USA,
Open
Ocean
Paddle
Events.
Cape2Cape Crossing will start at 1:30pm at Sunset Beach Resort, Cape Charles, VA heading South to First Landing State Park Beach (Bayside), Virginia Beach, VA. There is a 4 hour window to complete the course going 14.5 nautical miles. Awards ceremony will be held at the finish line at Sunset Beach Resort's, The Jackpot Bar & Grill. Start time and course direction may change per NOAA Surface Conditions (Race Director will make the Call 9/20/17). Alternate race day will be September 24th, 2017

All C2CX 2017 Registrations will be handled by Paddleguru.com. Paddleguru has the ability to show Race History of
each Paddler when they register. Cape 2 Cape Crossing may pull and refund Paddler if their Race History does not
show they are capable of 14.5 Statute Mile open ocean race.
Cape 2 Cape Crossing will follow-up with all Registrations assuring their qualifications.
