Event Details

Friday:  

Take part in 1 or all of the following activities.

• Island Style Cookout (5-6pm): Join us for a cookout on the lake with choice of grilled fish, chicken or tofu, vegan ceviche, Hawaiian coleslaw and tropical non alcoholic beverages.  (Fee: $15/person for Dinner)
• Ukulele Jam (5:30-6pm): If you play Ukulele or want to learn, join us for a quick lesson and jam session after dinner, sponsored by Trudel Music Studio.  Music and instruments provided.
• Beach Paddleball: (6-6:30pm)  After dinner and music, we will play a few rounds of Beach Paddleball.  No experience required and all equipment provided by Cruz Outdoors. 
• Sunset Social Paddle (7-8:30pm) Join us for a relaxing 1-2 mile paddle on Lake Hartwell.  

Saturday: (Race Day!)

1. All activities this year including post race awards and festivities will take place at 12 Mile Recreation Area in Clemson. 

2.  A complimentary light breakfast with OJ and snacks will be served the morning of the race.  *Bring your own coffee if you need it.

3.  After Check in and Safety Meeting, a Community Drum Jam will begin at 9:45 am as a lead up and "Send Off" for the paddle racers! 

-3 mile and 6 mile race will start at 10am

-1 mile fun race starts at 10:15am

4.  All participants will receive an awards medal after the race with special acknowledgment given to the top 3 finishers in each category.

5. On Race Day, vendors will be present from 8am-2pm to showcase their goods and to offer demos. A food and beverage truck will be onsite 11am-2pm. Live Music and Jam Sessions through out the day.

6. Demos and other activities will be announced through the Cruz Outdoors Social Media Channels and also on the day of the event.  We hope you'll stick around
