Grand River Dam Paddle (GRDP) 2024

August 31 @ Cherokee State Park, Langley Oklahoma 74350 (below the dam@GrandLake of the Cherokee)

GENERAL INFO

It's such a privilege to be hosting the second annual GRAND RIVER DAM PADDLE below the dam @ Grand Lake O' the Cherokee.

Once again, it's so exciting to be sharing the stoke with Grand Lake locals, friends, family, and hopefully inspiring some new faces into our paddling community.  We had a really nice turnout last year and are gearing up for an even better one for 2024!

ALL skill levels and paddle crafts welcome!  Canoe, kayak, pedal drives, SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) & even tandems.  This event is catered for everyone!  We will have a Kids’ Race (1k) for children, 5k for anyone, & The 11.5 mi. LONG course.

BONUS:  The event takes place on a beautiful stretch of the Grand River, aka my backyard.  It's not uncommon to see bald eagles all throughout the course, but you’re guaranteed some of the most breathtaking views below the DAM @ Grand Lake O' The Cherokee!
