ON YOUR MARK, GET SET - PADDLE OUT at our 4th annual season opener "Gun Lake Paddle Battle” paddle race on Saturday, June 5 in Shelbyville, Michigan!  Whether you are a seasoned paddler or always thought it "looked like fun", we have something for you.  And once again, this event is the kick starter for the Midwest Paddle League racing series!  New in 2021 is the 5k and 10k race courses to ALL Shaka SUP Racing events to align with other racing series!  This 3000+ acre lake is a great place to enjoy a summer day...so why not start it out with a paddle race!  Beginners and kids can participate in a short approx. 1 mile course  and the advanced paddler can take it up a notch in the new 5k or 10k distance courses.   In addition, all Shaka SUP Races have a local charity component, so $5 of your registration fee will go to support Gun Lake Protective Association whose mission is to keep Gun Lake beautiful for all to enjoy.  Your registration fee also includes an awesome event ONE-OF-A-KIND sleeveless, racing shirt partnering with MIdwest Paddle League, BUT ONLY GUARANTEED if you register by Sunday, May 16, 2021!
