GENERAL INFO
Join us for the Hudson River Cup race in Hoboken, New Jersey! Race along the Hudson River against the dramatic Manhattan and Jersey City skyline to the Statue of Liberty. This race is organized by Ke Aloha Outrigger and the Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse.
- 10-mile Liberty Course to the Statue of Liberty and back. Open to experienced** OC1/2, surfskis and coastal rowing shells.
- 4-mile Hudson Course*** close to the mouth of New York Harbor and back. Open to experienced** stand-up paddlers, prone paddlers and kayakers.
Registration:
- Early Registration Fee of $65 ended on Saturday, June 7.
- Regular Registration Fee of $75 will run Sunday, June 7 until Thursday, June 19 at 5:00PM.
- There will be no in-person registration on the day of the race. Anyone not pre-registered by June 19th on PaddleGuru will not be allowed to participate.
Race Shirts: Race shirts can be purchased during registration at a discount for racers. Design of the shirt is currently in progress. We will publish here when it is complete.

* This is not a beginner race. The waters in New York Harbor and the Hudson River can get treacherous. For those reasons, all paddlers must provide their water and race experience for review by our safety board before being officially admitted into the race. Hudson River Cup reserves the right to deny entry to participants. If that decision is made, the athlete will be notified and registration fees will be refunded minus any processing fees.
** There may be circumstance out of our control that impact our ability to run this race. In the event that we must cancel, registration fees will be refunded minus any processing fees.
*** Due to feedback from previous participants, we are working to add an additional mile or two to the Hudson Course pending approval from the Coast Guard.
