3-day Stand Up Paddle event

Juniors (15-18), Open and Masters (50+) Divisions • Prize Money  •  Clinic

SUP REGISTRATION for any of the 3 different races:  

200m Sprint, 5-turn 800m Tech, and Distance 10K includes

Hop on a paddleboard, test your balance, get a great workout and have a blast!  

With Halloween just around the corner, we encourage you to add an extra level of fun to the race by participating in our costume contest!

CLINICS

Thursday, October 12 2:00 - 4:00pm 

STROKE TECHNIQUE CLINIC WITH SEYCHELLE

A 2 hour stand up paddle clinic on land and on the water. We will go over paddle stroke technique and practice drills to improve your stroke efficiency, power, and speed. We will also discuss best practices and stroke adjustments to modify for and prevent injuries.  

Bring all of your SUP stroke questions, your board, paddle, pfd, leash, and water bottle.

This clinic is for all level paddlers from novice to advanced, though not for complete beginners. 

Seychelle is a world class paddle athlete and coach and founder of the SUP STROKE SCHOOL. She helps paddlers confidently improve their standup paddle technique to paddle faster, longer, and pain-free. LEVEL UP YOUR PERFORMANCE AND TECHNICAL PADDLE SKILLS  with Eri Tenorio

Things we are going to work on:

• Board maneuvering and foot steering for better board control.
• Buoy turn techniques
• Beach race starts
• Body position and stroke corrections
• Board drafting technique and etiquette 

Eri Tenorio is a world class Stand Up Paddle athlete from Buzios, Brazil who has quickly made a name for himself amongst the best paddlers in the world. Eri is having an impressive 2023 race season so far, earning multiple podium finishes on the EuroTour battling with the legends of the sport. Most recently, Eri earned the title Brazilian National Champion in technical SUP racing. Other accomplishments include: two 3rd place finishes at the 2022 ICF World Cup in Oklahoma City and a 5th place finish at the ISA World Championship in Puerto Rico in 2022. Eri is a fierce competitor on the water, but off the water he is known for his contagious energy and playful demeanor.
