The stand up paddle will start at 9:30am and will take you out from the shoreline towards Ballena Bay and back. The 3 mile 5k option will be three loops, and the 1 mile option is one triangular loop in the Alameda Bay.

Water is calm and flat, with beautiful views of the SF skyline and Alameda coast.

Parking will be at Crown memorial Beach - there will be a parking fee, plan accordingly or park on the surrounding streets

Participants will receive:

• Participant T-shirt 
• Finishers medal
• food and drink at the finish

Equipment

• Required: Board, Paddle, Leash and PFD (lifejacket). No leash/PFD no racing.
• Recommended: 1mm to 2mm wetsuits or skins

Rental Equipment

• All equipment can be rented for race day from www.mikespaddle.com
• All around boards $30, touring boards $40, race boards $60.
• All equipment will be delivered to Crown Memorial Beach.
• Participants are responsible for any damage to the rental equipment.
