Jamestown Double Beaver 2018

August 18 @ Conanicut Yacht Club, Jamestown, RI, United States

GENERAL INFO

The Jamestown Double Beaver race will be held on August 18th, 2018. Hosted by Tim Dwyer this 5 to 9 mile race (depending on conditions) on Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay is a true open-water event, with rough ocean conditions likely. Although primarily for surfskis, outrigger canoes are also welcome to participate.

There is a $30 registration fee for this race to cover food and other costs. You must register by August 13th (the Monday before the race) - there is no race day registration. Only those registering by the deadline will be eligible for raffle prizes. This race is part of both the SurfskiRacing.com and New England Surfski point series. Post-race food will be provided.

Epic Kayaks has been a long-time sponsor of the Double Beaver and have generously donated prizes once again with a new Epic wing paddle and $100 gift certificate.

Park in the upper parking lot and walk your ski to the beach. There is a portapotty available. Plan on hanging out on the beach (bring a chair) and having food afterwards.

Stay tuned for possible course changes due to weather and conditions. Be flexible. We always work out a good course.
