The Jamestown Double Beaver race is June 29, 2024. Hosted by Tim Dwyer, this 10 mile race on Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay is a true open-water event, with rough ocean conditions likely. Expect fantastic scenery and beautiful sailing vessels along the way. Although primarily for surfskis, outrigger canoes or other sea going paddle craft are also welcome to participate.
There is no registration fee for this race!! But please sign-up beforehand so we know how many paddlers to expect. No formal awards will be given, but this race is part of both the SurfskiRacing.com and New England Surfski point series.
Epic Kayaks has been a long-time sponsor of the Double Beaver and has generously donated wing paddles, hats and paddle clothing to be raffled off.

Here's a link to the course map. The race starts off the dock of the Yacht Club and follows the coastline south turning directly on the Beavertail NR buoy to return. Depending on conditions, the course may be changed. Paddlers will meet at the beach across the road from the Bay Voyage Inn in Jamestown, Rhode Island. Please park on Bay View Drive (across from the Bay Voyage Inn).
