Lanakila Iki Outrigger Canoe Club is proud to welcome you to the Lanakila Iki Ocean Challenge 2025 Race!

A true Ocean Race, Located in beautiful Hollywood Beach. Last year's race brought a lot of competition and made our paddlers bring their A game. This year promises to be as competitive and fun on the beautiful Ocean.  Bring your A game, this Ocean Challenge is truly an experience not to be missed!

Saturday August 23rd will feature OC6 races in Women's, Men's, and Mixed categories. The course will be 9 miles.

Sunday August 24th will be the small craft category, open to V1, OC1s, OC2s, Kayaks, Ocean Dory's, Prone, and Surfski. for 9 miles and 4mile course.

 The race fee for OC6 races is $65.00 per paddler. To plan for this year's event could you please provide the information requested below:

CanoeRentals 

Does your team needto rent an OC6? Contact the race organizer to inquire about spare OC6availability. Please do not reach out to boat owners. We'd like to reserve theright to assign boats to avoid duplicating. Canoe Rental is $300.00 or $150.00per race division. 

Lunch will be provided each day, Race captains, please register for the races that your club will be participating in (men's, women's and/or mixed). We greatly appreciate you registering in advance, so we have a headcount for lunch and race swag.  The race fee includes lunch and race swag for each paddler.

Note: Hollywood beach is a green beach so please bring a fillable water bottle.

Safety: PFD is required by the USCG and be present in the canoes.

A completed waiver is required to participate, please fill during registration.

FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Please plan accordingly.
