Thanks for joining us on the water to fight cancer at the 4^th annual LLS Paddle Race. This party, err, we mean race, is set for Saturday October 26th at 101 Surf Sports San Rafael location.

The racing action will feature a protected 2 mile short course that is perfect for first time racers. If you are already an accomplished paddler our 6 mile long course is sure to challenge you. With divisions in Surfski, Kayak, Stand Up Paddle, Prone Paddleboard, Kayak, Outrigger Canoe and SUPSquatch (multiperson SUP) there is something for everyone. All proceeds from the race are being donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their ongoing  fight against cancer.

In addition to the race the Après Paddle scene is going to be off the hook. With Chef Jen (Trinchero Family Estates) Contreras and Chef Tom (Cakebread Cellars) Sixsmith at the helm you can expect an upgrade from our normal fare. These two folks are not only donating their time but all the food as well. Again - yes they did it last year too!

With Oktoberfest just hitting the rear view mirror, and Halloween just around the corner, the obvious leap was made: LEDERHOSEN. So if you got 'em wear 'em. No LEDERHOSEN? No problem. We will be holding a Costume Contest so get your Batman costume out and let’s do this!

In addition we will be Auctioning off some of Napa's finest wines, SUP boards, paddles and more while inviting all of our partner vendors down with free demos' and discounted merchandise (all proceeds donated) to make it one big village. Beating this cancer thing is going to take a village so join our village today.

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 100 People. This will sell out so do not miss out!

Bringing non racer friends? Make sure to purchase $30 meal tickets ahead of time. We need to plan food so please help us out.

The Registration fee is $75 for all racers.

To rent a single kayak or stand up paddleboard is an additional $75. Choose this option during registration.

To rent a double kayak is $100 per boat. Both Kayakers must register. Only one of the riders needs to reserve the boat.

All Rentals include Life Jackets and Paddles. First time SUP Racers will also get a free introductory SUP lesson with some tips on going fast!

To rent a SUP Squatch is $100 per board. 4 people can ride a SUP Squatch. We have three available. One rider the "Squatch leader" needs to reserve the SUP Squatch in addition their $75 Registration fee. Then EVERY RIDER of the SUP Squatch must also sign up for the race.

We even have a division to race with your dog - this is going to be fun! Got an inflatable paddleboard? Well we have a special division for you too!

New to this years race is the Waterman's Division. Look for special prizes for anyone who competes in both the LLS Cup Sailing Regatta at Corinthian Yacht club AND our paddle race. Do both and you are eligible for the Waterman award. Waterman means ladies too!

Your participation in the LLS SUP Cup includes an online fundraising page where you can help raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  The link to your fundraising page will be sent in a separate email.  Please join us and help accelerate cancer cures and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.  

NO WETSUITS NEEDED! It’s warm here in San Rafael. Just wear clothing that you would work out or bicycle in. Avoid cotton and wear synthetic fibers. Polyester, Nylon, Lycra etc. Yoga pants, board shorts, and a rash guard or workout top are perfect.

Including your entrance fee we are asking each racer to set a goal of raising some extra money to help fight Leukemia!
