Milford Small Craft Race 2022

GENERAL INFO
The Milford Championship race will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from Gulf Beach with long and short courses:
Please register by 2pm on Friday September 23rd. Anyone registering after then the cost will go up by $10 because it is a pain :)
Short Course ~ 4 to 4.5 Miles
OC1, OC2, Surfski, Double Surfski, Fast Kayaks, SUP, Prone, Etc (no board class breakout for SUP division).
Long Course ~ 9 Miles
OC1, OC2, Surfski, Double Surfski, Fast Kayaks, SUP, Prone, Etc!. Divisions for Men, Women & Mixed.
The race is part of the ECORA Point Series.
As usual we will determine the exact race course in the week of the race based on the prevailing weather. Likely to be two laps as this has been very well received - it means you can see the other paddlers much more regularly and gauge exactly where you are. Plus, if we are lucky, we'll get some bumps on one of the legs.
Cost is $45 per paddler for registrations before the cut off.
Included with registration will be a post-race luau including a couple of beverages. No need to register for the Luau - you can 'pay as you go' at the restaurant.
Parking
Is free on the day in the lot opposite the beach next to the club.
If visiting Manu'Iwa or Gulf Beach the City now charges (a lot) between the Memorial & Labor Day holidays. However, there are ample spaces on the streets close to the club AND Manu'Iwa buys some passes for members who don't live in the City and therefore aren't able to get a free beach parking permit.
