First ever Montreal Paddle Battle on the River of St-Laurent just beside the heart of the city in Lachine.  Come join us on a challenging open water race where you get to compete against all levels of paddlers and the beautiful but strong river.  Start the race in the safety of the bay in front of Lachine Canoe Club and head out to concur the rivers currents and waves to navigate around Dorval Island. Push yourself to a fun challenging 11km or enjoy the possibility to be out there with everyone on the 5km Short course. 

This race is open to SUP, OC1, OC2's and Surfski. 

Safety is our priority therefore Leashes and PFD's will be mandatory for al categories. 

All racers will get one Free Drink and Lunch after the race, Including a goodie bag and a Race T-shirt.  Lunch = (Burger) Not much but its our first time running so give us a break!  

More drinks will be available in designated area.

Top five will be recognized in each race category during podium ceremony. 

Parking will be available in front of the canoe club, it is limited so come early Or find spots around local streets or public parking. Board drop off will be allowed once parking lot is full.

Bathrooms, showers and change rooms are all available inside Canoe Club. 

Friends and Family are more then welcome!

Race:     Water Start, water finish. 

Rules: Drafting only allowed in craft category, example SUP only SUP.  (NO rules on Woman drafting Man or Man drafting Woman) its all a go!  OC1 drafting OC1!
