Kalama small boat race is going virtual this year due to COVID.

Virtual Kalama small boat race is open to OC-1, OC-2 (from same household), V1, SUP, surfski, and kayak.  Thank you for supporting Mountain Home Canoe Club.  Happy Racing.

Date: Race whenever you would like between Monday, Feb. 8 to Sunday, Feb. 21. NOTE CHANGE IN DATES DUE TO THE COLD WEATHER COMING TO THE PACIFIC NW.

Race Course: The race is a 6 mile loop race in your local area.  For those in the Portland area who are interested in racing on the Columbia River, some MHCC paddlers will meet at Broughton Beach (42nd street boat ramp) at 9am on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Cost: Donations of $0, $10, or $20.

Results: Please send a photo of  your distance and time to MHCCKalama@gmail.com by 11:59pm on Feb. 21, 2021.

This is an unsanctioned race, so you are responsible for your own safety.  Please wear a PFD, leash, and whistle.
