Kalama small boat race is going virtual this year due to the surge with COVID.

Virtual Kalama small boat race is open to OC-1, OC-2, V1, SUP, surfski, and kayak.  Thank you for supporting Mountain Home Canoe Club.  Happy Racing.

Date: Race whenever you would like between Friday, Feb. 11 to Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022.

Race Course: The race is a 6 mile loop race in your local area.  For those in the Portland area who are interested in racing on the Columbia River, some MHCC paddlers will meet at Broughton Beach (42nd street boat ramp) at 9am on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Cost: Donations of $15.

Prizes:  Free registration will be given to the 2023 Kalama race as prizes to this year's fastest woman, man and OC2.  There only three (3) race prize divisions/classes this in this race:  women, men and OC2;  divisions/classes are not divided by age or vessel type.

Safety:

This is an unsanctioned race, so you are responsible for your own safety.  Please wear a PFD, leash, and whistle.

Please follow all state, county, and local COVID guidelines, orders, and rules for the race.
