RACE IS ON FOR SATURDAY OCT. 7TH.  SEE EMAIL SENT TO REGISTERED PADDLERS FOR DETAILS.

On October 7th 2023 on the Bayfront in Seaside Heights NJ near Stewart's Rootbeer,  we are paddling to benefit Maui which was devastated by fire. We will be collecting gift cards in the amount of $50 for Home Depot, Amazon, Lowes, Costco, Visa, or of your choice. These will be sent directly to Maui for distribution. There will be SUP, Surf-Ski, Oc-1/2, Lifeguard boats, prone and kayak categories.  There will be a five mile elite open race and a 2 mile rec race and a kids race. 

5 mile race awards will recognize 1st-5th place in each category with 2 divisions; Men and women 49 and under and 50+ Masters. The 2 mile rec race will recognize overall 1st- 3rd place in two board divisions:  rec boards and race boards.  ALL boards that are 12'6" and over, including all touring boards, will be placed in the race board division.  There are no age divisions in the rec race.

Registration is from 7:00-8:30am. Captain's meeting for the 5 and 2 mile races will be at 8:45.  The 5 mile open race starts  at 9:00 am, water start. The 2 mile rec race will start at 9:10. Childrens race will start at the end of the 5 and 2 mile race. We will be having raffles and music.  Lunch will be a pot luck. Please bring a lunch item/snacks to share.
