Disclaimer:  Weather and water conditions can change rapidly. Although Island Paddle events are held whether rain or shine, there are many factors that can cause events & races to be considered "un-safe". Torrential rain, flooding, rough water conditions and hurricanes are a few examples. For this reason, we understand many competitors will want to wait until conditions are more predictable. Even though there is a higher fee for "day of" registration,  we cannot guarantee an event T-shirt if you do not register at least 2 weeks before event date.  We recommend to register online as soon as possible. The Island Paddle water safety team reserves the right to cancel or modify any races at any time.  All decisions made by the Island Paddle water safety team are final.
