ABOUT THE PACIFIC PADDLE GAMES
October 10-11, 2015
SUP Magazine's Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life will be held at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California, on October 10th and 11th, 2015. The weekend will feature Technical and Distance races (in both Pro and Open divisions), including Junior/ Grom Pro and Open categories, a Beginner Kids' race, Prone Race, West Marine Demo Zone and much more!
The Pacific Paddle Games will feature the largest prize purse in paddle sports history at $55,000.
Our website is LIVE: Visit
PacificPaddleGames.com for more details.
There are two divisions for our races: Open (age group) and Pro/Elite. Our open divisions are for athletes who compete at a non-professional level. If you are in a Pro division you cannot enter an Open division or any other.
If you are in an Open division you cannot enter the Pro division.
Important Note: One of the goals of #PPG2015 is to reward the best overall standup racers. In the Pro races, for both the men and women, the vast majority of the prize purse will be rewarded to the overall champions, combining their results from both the Technical and the Distance races. Each adult Pro race will have some bonus prize money, however the large prize purse goes for the overall win. IF YOU WANT TO COMPETE FOR THE BIGGEST PRIZE PURSE IN PADDLE SPORTS HISTORY, YOU MUST DO BOTH THE TECHNICAL AND DISTANCE RACES. This also applies to the PRONE and JUNIOR PRO divisions and their
prizing. In short, individual trophies will be presented for the
individual races as well as the combined.
PRO PADDLERS MUST REGISTER BEFORE 3 p.m. ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, as the
#PPG2015 team needs to create the heat draws for the next day. THERE
WILL BE NO RACE DAY CHECK IN FOR PRO RACERS!!!
