Saturday, September 15, 2018, marks the 8th annual Paddle for the Bays: RACE Cape Cod, a test of speed and endurance for all levels of paddlers on paddleboards and/or kayaks.  One of the most beautiful courses on the East Coast.

Organized by and benefiting Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, one of Cape Cod's leading water-quality advocacy groups (BCleanWater.org).  Your support will help Barnstable Clean Water Coalition on their mission to restore and preserve clean water in the town of Barnstable.

The Paddle for the Bays: RACE Cape Cod includes:

Adult Course - 5 mile (SUP or kayak) and 10 mile loop (SUP)

Youth Course - approximately 1/4 - 1/2 mile (SUP or kayak)

All racers get a long-sleeved t-shirt and beach party ticket. First 50 registrants get a visor.

Adult Racers Early Registration: $95 ($110 Race Day Registration)

Youth Racers Early & Race Day Registration: $55

Racers can also be on a relay team:

Relay (SUP) Course - 4 person team - 1 board (Surf/SUP under 12') per team - each team member does one loop of youth course

Relay Team: $240 ($60 per person)

New venue (Oyster Harbors Club beach)

Silent Auction

Beach party with live music, food and drink (Beach Party Ticket $20 (adults)/$10 (youth))

Beer Tickets will be available on race day ($5/ticket - each beer ticket is good for one beer)

Spectators must purchase a Beach Party Ticket at registration table on day of race.

Beach Party Ticket included for all racers. Racers may purchase extra Beach Party Tickets for friends and family. 

Prizes to the top 3 finishers in each category

Relay Top Prize Package: Four 11' Bic Wing Paddleboards and Four Carbon Fiber Paddles

Your relay team has one of three chances to win the Relay Top Prize Package. Teams winning the relay race, the best costume, and top fundraising team will be entered into a drawing to win the top prize package.

About registration:

Each racer needs a PaddleGuru account.

If you are signing up for the Relay Course, each member of your team needs a PaddleGuru account. Have your team members create accounts before registering your team. When registering, you can then choose you teammates by typing in their name or username.
