Paddle-Jam is BACK!! With a great new location for a paddle poker race and a party! Join us at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Maryland for this leisurely 4.5 mile paddle along the scenic Miles River passing iconic sights like the Inn at Perry Cabin & Miles River Yacht Club. Post-race awards party on CBMM's campus will feature music, food, games and local libations. Open to all types of paddle craft & all levels of paddlers. PaddleJam is a fundraiser supporting CBMM's Rising Tide program, which teaches boat building and woodworking skills to local youth.

SCHEDULE:

8am Walk up registration/Check-in Open

9am Launch. Course should take between 2-3 hours.

Post-paddle party begins immediately after with BBQ, local beer vendors, music, lawn games and awarding prizes!

HOW IT WORKS:

Paddle Jam is a paddle poker event, where paddlers will receive a random jumbo poker card at each of the following stops to create a hand. Best hands win valuable prizes! 

• Launch from Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's Fogg's Landing soft launch ramp.
• Stop #1 is the pier at Inn at Perry Cabin
• Stop #2 is an anchored vessel
• Stop #3 is an anchored vessel
• Stop #4 is the pier at Miles River Yacht Club
• Optional Stop #5 is an anchored vessel. (Can be omitted if paddlers wish to shorten their paddle)
• Stop #6 is an anchored vessel
• Return to Fogg's Landing kayak ramps.

All participants are required to wear USCG-approved PFDs, and SUP participants are required to wear a leash.

Paddlers who register before September 8th will receive an event t-shirt and swag bag.
