“Paddle at the Point”

Come and join Pinchers as we kick off our first annual stand

up paddleboard race in beautiful Cape Coral, FL. Working in conjunction with Lahui Kai and the World Paddle Association, "Paddle at the Point" will be featuring 3 separate races, multiple board divisions, an open age class, competitor giveaways and a chance to compete for a portion of the $9,000 purse. Participants of all ages

can enjoy this family fun competition as they navigate the calm backwaters of

the Caloosahatchee River. But that’s not all! This event also includes live

entertainment, food & beverage from Texas Tony’s Rib House, cash prizes and giveaways, vendor opportunities, convenient parking, and a FREE Calusa kids race for anyone 17 years of age and younger. Whether competing for prizes, supporting your racer, or

just looking to have a good time “Paddle at the Point” has something for

everyone! The festivities begin Saturday morning, September 19^th at

Tarpon Point, Cape Coral. This event is hosted by the world's #1 female paddler Annabel Anderson, with guest appearance by US Olympic Silver Medalist Johnny Puakea. 

"Paddle at the Point" is a WPA Sanctioned POINTS RACE!!

DAY OF REGISTRATION will be capped, and the registration fees increased to $125 for the 6  mile course and $95 for the 3 mile course. SO DON'T WAIT! Register online now to guarantee your spot in the race and save money in the process. A complimentary T-Shirt, lunch voucher and Gift Bag is

included with each entry (excluding “kids race” participants). Paddleboards

will be available for rent on site (LIMITED QUANTITY) provided by Paddlefish West. ALL participants must provide their own USCG approved personal flotation device to compete. See disclaimer for full details.

Calusa Kids Race – 1 mile (FREE)

 -Anyone 17 years of age and younger may compete on ANY board

class. All participants must provide their own personal flotation device, and

sign a liability waiver with an accompanying guardian during check in. This race is to take place at the conclusion of the 6 and 3 mile course, so competing parents can enjoy watching their kids take up the paddle.

Whether you are a novice paddler or a seasoned pro, each participant has the opportunity to learn from the best.
