Shaka SUP Racing is hosting at Paddle Race Event Weekend! Race #1, the 5th annual "Paddle for YOUR Cause" THE CHOICE IS YOURS....pick YOUR charity, YOUR craft and YOUR course! Come join the only event where YOU CHOOSE which charity to designate $5 of your registration fee by picking 1 or split between all 4 wonderful organizations: Young Survival Coalition (dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer), Ingham County Animal Shelter (providing care, rescue, shelter and food to area animals), Kennedy Tennant Memorial Fund (a "community closet" in memory of a very special young lady, our Tootsie) or Make-A-Wish MI (fulfilling wishes and dreams of deserving young children).
For the youth and beginner paddler, we offer a 1 mile race, and if you want a bit more we offer a 5k or 10k course (courses that are also part of the Midwest Paddle League 2021 racing series). We are also excited to offer race divisions for paddling brothers and sister on surfskis, outrigger canoes and prone paddlers. So, THE CHOICE IS YOURS. Come join us and choose YOUR paddling craft, YOUR course, and Paddle for YOUR Cause!
No equipment, No problem! Limited SUPs/kayaks will be available from compliments/donation from River Town Adventures, on first come, first serve basis. THANK YOU RIVER TOWN ADVENTURES FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
