Paddle The Palisades
Paddle the Palisades is a 10 hour competition starting at the boat ramp off of 39 in Jessamine County and ending underneath the iconic High bridge. There is one portage around Lock 8, where racers will be provided a space to get out of the river and walk their boat around the lock and dam.

The entry fee is $35: This includes entry into the race, a race T-shirt, shuttle, and prizes for our top finishers!

Awards will only be for the classes with at least 2-3 craft in their division.

Shuttle
The shuttle will run in the morning. After checking in at the start, the boater will drop their boat by the put in, and take their car and park it at Lock 7 (right by the high bridge boat ramp), where parking will be marked off and provided. Then the race organizers will have a van to shuttle racers back to the start and their boats.The shuttle will be leaving lock 7 at both 0615, and 0645. All Racers not ready to be shuttled back by 0645 at lock 7, must provide their own shuttle. All racers will be back and ready for the safety meeting at 0730.
