A race for everyone as an early season weekend of races in a friendly and low-key venue. "Options”  as you select sprint or marathon and portaging or not portaging. 200m and 500m sprints on Saturday afternoon with classes for K1 (kayak or surfski), K2 (kayak or surfski), C1 (open canoe, OC-1, V-1), C2 (canoe or OC-2), and SUP.  On Sunday an ICF compatible canoe/kayak marathon, with or without portages - you choose! A 9 mile course with two portages, or a shorter one lap course with one portage.  There will be an additional loop for those who cannot, or do not want, to portage that should take the same time as the portage.  Marathon classes are the same as detailed above for sprint. Registration is $35, inclusive of all races. If you don't see your class and want to compete drop me a line and I'll add it.  Races and classes will be combined with similar classes to make sure that at least folks are competing for each prize though.  Prizes for at least the top 3 male and females in both kayak/surfski and canoe (open canoe, and OC). OC2 and K2 races also available.

Local camping at the park is readily available and some limited options will be available to stay with local racers, if enough notice is given to organizers.

This is also a great opportunity to come and demo and sell any boats you have for sale. People may be coming from NY, NJ, VA, Northern PA, DC, MD and the Philly area, so this will also be a good transfer hub for boats.
