The 4th annual Plum Beach Lighthouse Race will be held on October 17, 2021 vice Oct 16 due to the forecast.
Hosted by Wesley Echols, this 8-mile race on Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay is one of the final open-water race of the New England season. Although primarily for surf skis, outrigger canoes and other kayaks are welcome to participate.
There is no registration fee for this race. You MUST register 24hrs prior to race day unless you receive express permission from Wesley. No awards will be given, but this race is part of the SurfskiRacing.com point series.
Here's a link to the course map. Paddlers will meet at North Kingstown Town Beach, located at the end of Beach Street in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
