Online registration for the first annual Stand Up for Autism paddleboard event in Western NC has closed.

You can register in person tonight at the Wild Wing Café Asheville South (located at 65 Long Shoals Road, Arden 28704) between 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and tomorrow morning at Wild Wing Café beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Sponsored and supported by Diamond Brand, Buncombe County Parks and Rec, and Wild Wing Cafe, Stand Up for Autism will raise awareness and funds for individuals with autism and the programs offered to support them through the Autism Society of North Carolina. 

Tonight join us for an evening by the lake including live music, beer, food, and raffle prizes. You can pick up your event packet as well.

• On Saturday, if you are a paddleboarder (both competitive and non-competitive), sign up for the 3 mile race around scenic Lake Julian.
• Not interested in racing? Try out a variety of watercraft and boards on the lake by registering for Paddlefest. 

Fees apply for both and include an event t-shirt. Every participant will also be entered into prize drawings!
