A swim, stand up paddleboard and prone paddleboard race held at Watermans Landing, to bring water awareness, safety and friendly competition to Lake Tahoe. For years coastal communities have been putting on competitions that encompass all things that a waterman would do, to find out who is the fastest and most proficient in all categories and now you can do it at 6000 feet in beautiful Lake Tahoe! All proceeds go to Team Tahoe Waterman and the Junior Tahoe Waterman Camp.

TAHOE WATERMAN RACE

DATE: August 23rd

TIME: 8:00am registration opens, 10am heats start.

COST: $35.00

Race Format:

• 200 meter swim
• 900 meter stand up paddle
• 700 meter prone paddleboard
• FINISH – Paddle to the beach, jump off your board and run through the finish line

• 5 person heats and will be run with top finishers advancing until a final heat

• Hobie SUP boards and Surftech prone paddleboards are provided. Paddles and PFD’s also provided
  • You can use your own paddle but not your own board

JUNIOR TAHOE WATERMAN RACE

DATE: August 23rd

TIME: 12pm registration, 1pm race start

AGES CATAGORIES: 8-10, 11-13, 14 & 15, 16 & 17

COST: $15.00

Race Format:

• 50 meter swim
• 600 meter stand up paddleboard
• 400 meter prone paddleboard
• FINISH – paddle to the beach & jump off your board and run through the finish

• Hobie SUP boards and Surftech prone paddleboards are provided. Paddles and PFD’s also provided
  • You can use your own paddle but not your own board
• All racers will be rewarded with a prize but top 3 boys and girls will get ultimate prize
