Crosswind Paddle Company has transitioned into The Crosswind Foundation -  a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide access for our underserved youth to our waterways through the passion of paddle sports. Colin, Alex, and the rest of the Crosswind team is so thrilled to continue the Crosswind journey by giving back to the community with the new foundation. In this spirit, we are continuing your favorite 'Richmond Paddle Cup' you already know and love. As always there will be a Fun Paddle (1.0 mi) for more beginner and recreational paddlers, a Short Course (2.5 mi) for intermediate paddlers, and a Long Course (5.0 mi) for more experienced racers. Unfortunately, we no longer will be offering the  22-Mile Rundown race at this time. The Long Course will be a flatwater race from Robious Landing Park to the 288 Bridge and back! The Short Course will feature buoy's for paddlers to circuit and the Fun Paddle will take place in front of the park. SUPs & Kayaks will be allowed to participate in each event. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers in the Long Course and the Short Course races for Men and Women (Minimum of 5 people participating in the event in order to get awarded). After the races have concluded there will be an awards ceremony, lunch and beverages for all guests and participants to enjoy! All participants will receive an event t-shirt and raffle ticket upon registration.
