The Surfski Foundation announces its first Surfski Symposium; a Gathering and Information Exchange for all levels of surfski paddlers and those interested in learning about the sport of Surfski

March 11^th and 12^th 2023 Ft. Pierce, Florida

Vision 

To accelerate the growth of surfski in the United States and Puerto Rico by introducing surfski paddling to as many people as possible.

Mission 

To decrease the barriers to entry to the sport of surfski by providing access to gear at no cost for those trying the sport for the first time as well as providing guidance on how to chose the right ski, paddle and accessories.

We are also starting the first kids school in Tampa Bay, florida and are currently looking for sponsors to help us obtain the right gear. 

Event Outline

The Symposium takes place in unison with the Treasure Coast Paddle Battle on 3-11-23 at Jaycee Park in Ft. Pierce. The Symposium will begin upon completion the 10K race and run through 4PM on Saturday 3-11-23. Saturday evening Keynote Speaker presentations 5PM to 7PM @Sunrise Sands Hotel. On Sunday 3-12-23, the Symposium will begin at 8:30AM and run to approximately 12:00PM.
