The members of the Wanda Canoe Club are pleased to invite you the 2020 Virtual HACK Race. The race window is Saturday, September 19th to 5PM EST on Monday, October 5th.

Course: Please submit a triangle course or out and back course time. Do not submit downwind-only or point-to-point times. There will be an Elite 9-mile (14.5KM) course option as well as a Novice 4.5-mile (7.25KM) course option. Paddle with small groups and with people you know staying at least 6 feet from others at all times. Large groups are not recommended. If you choose to paddle by yourself, make sure that someone knows where you are, that you are wearing a lifejacket, a leash, and proper clothing and that you are able to contact someone with a device if you need help while you are out there.

Registration:  The Elite Course will cost $20/entry and the Novice Course will cost $15/entry. Please do not sign up for a Novice Course entry if you are signing up for the Elite Course. Multiple entries are encouraged (i.e. sign up for both OC1 and C1 elite course). If you are registering a tandem boat, only one partner needs to pay the entry fee ($40 total). 

Race registration and sales are non-refundable. All proceeds benefit Hackensack Riverkeeper Inc. and the Wanda Canoe Club's paddling programs.

Submission: Please submit your time via Google Form after you've completed your virtual race(s). Please submit one entry at a time.

Prizes: 

1) The paddler with the most entries will get a free entry for next year's race. 

2) Extra socks from the 2018/2019 race will be given to each Division (age/gender/craft) winner with at least 3 entries, as well as winner of the Novice race. 

3) We will also have a leash prize for the fastest OC1 man & woman courtesy of Salem Darrow.
