4.5 Downwinder from Sandy Beach to Hawaii Kai M2O Finish Line

$100 for the top male and

female SUP and prone tug of war winners. $100 for the prone vs SUP tug of war

winner.  Board size does not matter. Top 8 finishers will qualify to participate in the paddling tug of war at the finish line after the race where a line is attached to the back of two boards and a one-on-one tug of war is done by pulling the opponent across a line in the water. All paddlers compete for awards for the top three in each division.

Race entry includes a paddle shirt, lunch, and after party Saturday night at the Sheraton Waikiki. Enter online here for $45 or in person at Blue Planet. You can also beach enter on race day for $5 additional.

The race start will be in the water outside of the surf. There is a channel to paddle out to the start line which avoids the surf and we will take our time to make sure everyone gets out to the start line safely.  For race day the wind conditions look to be moderate with small surf and the tide will be high to keep the channel open.  It should be a beautiful day.  For race information call 255-6255.
