Hello Paddlers!

Thank you for registering for our upcoming Water Festival Paddle Splash 2021 benefiting Nor Cal SUP Groms.

Paddle Splash on Lake Natoma July 22-25, 2021

All activities including-Clinics, races, and Yoga will be conducted at Nimbus Flat State Recreation Park located at 1900 Hazel Ave, Gold River CA.

Please note there is a State Park fee to enter this area that is not included in your registration.

Leash and PDF is required during races and clinics.

All races will be timed through "ankle chips" if you are in more than one race you will need a separate "ankle chip" for each event which can be picked up at registration when you check in and receive your "racer swag bag".

Paddlers must supply all their own gear for racing and clinics.

All paddlers MUST attend paddlers pre-race safety meeting on the day of their event;

Saturday Meeting 8:45AM on the beach

Sunday Meeting 7:45AM on the beach

Rental boards available for clinics and can be reserved through Paddle Guru registration page.

Awards will be announced after each race and medals presented on the beach.

All equipment will be provided for SUP Yoga classes. Please arrive 20 minutes before scheduled SUP yoga class to be checked in.

We are pleased to announce https://www.anchoredeats.com/ will be at our event ( a floating food truck!) for all racers to enjoy. BBQ's are also availble on the beach if you want to "grill your own".

Nor Cal SUP will be hosting a Paddle Splash mixer on Saturday July 24th from 5-7PM at Escape Folsom Pub 727 Traders Lane, Folsom CA. You can check out their menu here https://escapefolsom.com/restaurant/ enjoy beer specials and great food a great way to meet the other paddlers. Our team fundraising raffle will be conducted at the event, raffle tickets available at event or at registration link on Paddle Guru.

We will close out our event with a "Water/Beach" clean up on Sunday July 25th at noon.

We have added a few classes to our Paddle Splash Schedule:

Learn to Paddleboard on Friday July 23 at 8:30AM.

Kids only skills clinic with Fiona Wylde on Friday July 24th at noon.

All skills clinics with Fiona will be one hour in duration.

Nor Cal SUP Certified Coaches will be assisting with all clinics.

Looking forward to a safe and fun weekend on Lake Natomas wonderful water!

On-Scene EMS will provide "On the water" EMT's during all races

State Park lifeguards will also be posted on beach.

HOTEL: Lake Natoma Inn is offering a special rate of $99/night to PaddleSplash participants - participants can choose 1, 2, or 3 night stay. Check in is at 3pm and checkout at 11am. Please use the group code:

This is a dog friendly hotel with access to the water from the hotel (walking trail).

CAMPING: Beales Point Campground at Folsom Lake is less than 4 miles away from the race start and another great place to paddle. Full hook up or tent camping lakeside. Reservations can be made at www.reservecalifornia.com
