Hi racers and friends!

Here are few important updates and reminders for the 3r^dAnnual Choo Choo Chase River Race April 6. We’re looking forward to seeing you as we kick off the 2019 Southern Stoke Paddle Series here in Chattanooga! Tip for a successful race day: you should read this entire email ;).

Packet Pickup and Late Registration:

You can pick up your packet or late register at one of two times (please bring photo ID):

Friday April 5^th4:30-6:30pm; Packet Pickup TBD
Saturday April 6^th 7:30-9:00am Race Morning, Booker T. Washington State Park, 5801Old Champion Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416 NOTE: Race day registration if racer limit not met goes up to $70/$50/$20 for Long/Short/Kid courses.
Reminder: if you didn’t register by the cutoff extended to 3/15, a race tee was not included in your registration.

Race Day Schedule:

7:30 am (EDT)– All racer check in (even a quick "I'm here!" if you got packet Fri night), board staging and Registration (if limit not met) opens at Booker T. Washington State Park
9:00 am (or when full) – Registration closes; Packet Pickup Closes
9:45 am – Mandatory Racer Meeting (all short and long course racers)
10:00 am – National Anthem and Long Course start
10:10 am – Short Course start
11:45 am – Kid’s Race Meeting followed by Race Start
12:30 pm – Lunch Opens
1-1:30 pm – Awards Begin!
