WHO? 

Building on the success of our previous years, the Orange Bowl Paddle Championship will feature nearly 350 racers and thousands of spectators. Local celebrities, paddle professionals, participants and spectators will join “littles” in the largest paddle clinic in the world. We will once again look to draw the world’s top elite competitors in paddle boarding as well as hundreds of recreational amateur participants.

WHAT?

The #OrangeBowlPaddle event provides five courses (Elite, Outrigger Canoe, Corporate, Recreational and Sprint). Winding its way in and around Virginia Key, the Orange Bowl Paddle Championship is a unique course.

WHERE? 

Core events will be held at Miami Marine Stadium Flexpark.

June 10, 2017 - Onsite registration will begin at 7:30 AM and end at 8:30 AM. The Elite Race will start at 9:00 AM, the Recreational Race will start at 9:10 AM, the Outrigger Canoe Race will start at 9:30 AM, the Corporate Challenge at 12:00 PM and concluding with the Sprint Race at 1:00 PM. Closing ceremonies and prizes to follow at the conclusion of the Sprint Race. 

WHY?

The Windhaven Insurance Orange Bowl Paddle Championship is a charity–driven event with a focus on children and community. All funds raised by the event will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami to fund mentorship activities in the area.

CASH PRIZES!

Minimum cash prizes will be given to the top three men and women of the Elite Race for both 12'6" and 14' boards. (There must be at least five entries in a class for a cash prize to be awarded). 

*Additional prize money to be awarded based on registration numbers. 

Medals and "product swag" will be given to the winners of the recreational races.
