Safety on the water

• • All racers are required to wear a PFD. No exceptions.

  • All Stand Up Paddle boarders are required to wear a leash. No exceptions.

  • We will have a solid set of safety boats on the water during the event monitoring VHF Channel 68.
    

  • Remember the spirit of the Regatta while on the water, if you see someone in need stop and help them. We are responsible for each others’ safety on the water.
    
    The start line will be in the same historical spot, marked by two Buoys anchored in the middle of Richardson Bay.
    The finish line will be marked by two Buoys anchored next to the Matthew Turner Tall Ship (at Sea Trek). This will be set up before the race starts so that you can see where the timers and finish line are located.
    The Food is included in your race fees. Extra lunch tickets can be purchased for $15/ person. Lunch will be served from 11:30 - 1:45 pm.
