Friday

• 4 - 6 P.M - Introduction to Outrigger Canoeing

• 5-6 P.M - Outrigger Canoe Demo
  • Host: Ozone Midwest
• 7 P.M: Optional check-In and Get Together at Halls on the River

Saturday

• 7:30 A.M: Boat Drop  Off + Check - In for racers begins at Fort Boonesborough State Park
• 8 A.M: Shuttles begin running for racers from Proud Mary BBQ
• 9 A.M: Shuttles begin running for floaters from Proud Mary BBQ
• 9 A.M Racer Safety Meeting at Fort Boonesborough State Park
• 9:30 A.M: 14 Mile Boonesborough to Valley View Challenge Start at Fort Boonesborough State Park
• 10:A.M: 6 Mile Boonesborough to Proud Mary BBQ Race Start at Fort Boonesborough State Park
• 10:30: Float Safety Meeting at Fort Boonesborough State Park
• 10:45 A.M - 11:30 A.M: Float Launches Fort Boonesborough State Park Boat Ramp
• 12:30 P.M Bluegrass River Run Races Awards Ceremony at Proud Mary BBQ
• 2 P.M float trip cut off time.

COME EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNING! This is a BIG event, give yourself and our staff plenty of time to check you in. No same day registration.

Check In

1. Come to the check -In table. 
2. Sign a waiver
3. Place your number on your boat (if you're racer)  
4. Pick-up your shirt from shirt tent.
5.  Be on time for the your event's meeting where will review the courses and directions.
6.  We are racing under KWS Rules. Make sure you check them: www.explorekentucky.us/rules-kws-2019 

Event Starts

1. We respect your time and we want to start on time.
2. Kayak & Canoe races are a water start. SUP is a beach start.
3. There will be a short blast to mark come to the line.
4. The next blast will start the race and will be about 30 seconds after the first blast.

Race Finish

1. Paddle past the buoy and yell race time at timing team
2.  PLEASE clear the finish line and get your craft out of the water ASAP.

Awards

1. Trophies will be awarded to all of the largest categories represented by registration when it closes on May 1st.
