The course is a 3-mile loop stretching between the I-65 and Northern Boulevard bridges in downtown Montgomery. Racers will begin at Riverfront Park and race upriver to the Northern Boulevard Bridge, turn and paddle down to the 1-65 Bridge, then turn again to head back upriver to Riverfront Park. The 6-mile participants will make this loop twice. The 1-Mile youth race will start at Riverfront Park and go upriver for half a mile, then turn to finish with the flow.
