IMPORTANT Safety Rules : 

ABSOLUTELY NO water crafts in designated swim area at the start/finish beach!

All participants must know how to swim in open water!

All SUP must use safety leash and leash is highly RECOMMENDED for all crafts

All vessels must be equipped with  Coast Guard approved flotation devices, inflatable PFD must be worn and we highly recommend  use/wearing  of non-inflatable PFD's !

All participants must follow all Coast Guard or race organizer safety instructions!

All crafts MUST stay clear of the main shipping route and stay away from shipping vessels!

Safety is our priority , each participant is expected to help to any person/vessel in distress! 

FAILURE to follow any of the above safety rules could result in Disqualification of participant!!!

Severe weather safety provision

ALL Participants must know how to swim and follow all State and Race Safety rules!

Organizers reserve the right to delay start, shorten or interrupt the race in progress

and/or cancel the event due to safety concerns and conditions including, but not limited to severe weather - thunderstorms , lightning or extreme wind)

Due to significant up-front costs of this event, no refunds can be issued.  Thank you for your understanding.
