Black Warrior SUP Championship

GENERAL INFO
This is the first ever SUP race on the Black Warrior River in downtown Tuscaloosa Alabama hosted by Smith Lake Paddle Boards. Race will be held at The Tuscaloosa Riverwalk Condominiums. The 6 mile course and 3 mile course will be part of the Southern Stoke Paddle Series. Both race will also be the second and final legs of the Black Warrior SUP Championship. The first race of the championship will be Paddle at the Rock on May 30th at Smith Lake Park in North Alabama.
Contact RaceRacers wanting to qualify for the two race championship must participate in both races. Trophies will be awarded to the overall two race series winners. Championship winners will be determined by cumulative total time from both races.
Everyone who registers will be entered to win a 2015 YOLO Coastal Cruiser to be given away at The Black Warrior SUP Championship. If you enter Paddle at the Rock you will be registered twice. Big thanks to YOLO Board for all the support.
Cash Prizes will be awarded for the 6 Mile Long Course single race overall winners 1st-3rd men's and women's
1st $200
2nd $100
3rd $50
Cash prizes are awarded to the first 3 men and first 3 women to cross the finish regardless of board class.

There will also be a 1 mile open fun race.
If you need a board for the 1 or 3 mile please email or call us. We have Twenty 12' boards available, first come first serve.
All proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
