Sheboygan has a long surfing heritage and Sup is now a big part of it. This event will be hosted at Sheboygan’s North Beach on Lake Michigan.
Friday afternoon- Paddle Stroke clinic with Westy-Cost $40
Sup demos- FREE
Try a board and talk to industry reps. Newbies and seasoned paddlers welcomed.Industry reps from Surf & Stand Up Paddle board companies
Open surf contest (waves permitting)
2 Mile Short Race- Great for first time racers to intermediate-Cost $30
Team sprint relay race- We provide boards, use your own paddles. 4 person team (must have minimum 1 female) The first person sprints to short distance buoy and back, then you switch off the board to your teammate, 3 top teams with best times with the awesome "Team Tiki Trophy" -A must see! Name your team ie-(EOS Surf Shop) or get a business sponsor, have a theme and make it fun!-Cost $25
Free lunch & event T-shirt to all preregistered 2 and 6 Mile racers.
Custom made Trophies & prizes
Each racer receives raffle tickets for prizes. Demos and fun for all.
There will be a marina block party in the parking lot next to the event with live bands and food trucks from 4-10pm.
We welcome the local surfski paddling group to join our Sup n' Surf this year!
Course is weather/conditions dependent`v to allow for as near as possible open Water downwind paddling.
N to E wind and swell conditions - Race start will be at HIKA BAY in Cleveland, north of Sheboygan. (l) SE to S Wind and wave conditions Race start at Van Ess Road in Oostburg, south of Sheboygan. (2);
Race fmish will be at North Beach in Sheboygan. (3) Strong SE beam conditions, race will fmish on Indiana Ave. beach area near Blue Harbor resort. (4)

Registration will start at 103m Shuttle assistance will leave North Beach at 11:06E Race briefing 11:45
Race start at 12:00 All racers are expected to fmish the course by 2:15pm
Entry fee $35.06
Race open to all Surf Skis, High Performance Kayaks and Ocean Racing Canoes
PFD must be worn during the race, carrying a VHF or cell phone encouraged
Lake Michigan waters can be cold, please dress appropriately for conditions.
Post race awards/brat starting at 2:45.
(l) HIKA BAY I-43 exit 137 (County XX) at Cleveland, continue East on County XX to stop sign, continue straight ahead on North Ave. to Lake Michigan. Boat launch with toilets and parking. Water start.
(2) Van Ess Road I-43 exit 116 (County AA) at Oostburg, continue East on Foster Road and turn South on Frontage Road continuing to Van Ess, left turn on Van Ess . Walk in public access site, EQ toilet facilities, please obey parking signs and respect private property. Beach start.
(3) North Beach Sheboygan 1-43 exit 126 (W1 23) at Sheboygan, continue East on Kohler Memorial
which becomes Erie Ave, left on Street to Michigan, right on Michigan to Broughton Drive on the shore of Lake Michigan. Beach finish.
(4) Indiana Ave. beach area 1-43 exit 126 at Sheboygan, continue on Kohler Memorial to Business Drive (maj or intersection), right turn on Business Drive continuing to Indiana, on Indiana to Lake Michigan.
